Writer Matthew Rosenberg picks a few of his favorite comic books from The Stacks at Third Eye Comics.

Some people have been working their whole lives to get into The Stacks at Third Eye Comics. Matthew Rosenberg (4 Kids Walk Into a Bank, We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us) picks his all-time favorite comic books. Among his favorites are his buddy Tyler Boss’ latest thriller, You'll Do Bad Things, the undeniable indie G.O.A.T. - Love and Rockets, and the manga sensation for anyone currently obsessed with Marty Supreme, Taiyō Matsumoto’s Ping Pong.
If that's not enough of a tease, here's all of Matthew Rosenerg's picks, full spoilers: You’ll Do Bad Things, Love and Rockets, Ex Machina, Powers, Stray Bullets, Ping Pong, Ducks, Jerusalem: Chronicles from the Holy City, and Criminal: The Last of the Innocent.
Rosenberg understood the assignment. He was itching to get in those shelves and, before our cameras, eager to share his love for this medium. The writer is on a hot streak, having just completed the exceptional We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us (which you can hear him talk all about during last year’s podcast appearance), and announced a new Image Comics collaboration with co-writer Mark Elijah Rosenberg and artists Andy Macdonald and Francesco Segala. If Destruction Be Our Lot imagines a post-humanity Earth in which a robot Abraham Lincoln contemplates life without their maker. Sounds heartbreaking and beautiful. Sign us up.
Make sure you view The Stacks with Joshua Williamson (Superman), Rodney Barnes (Killadelphia), Jim Rugg (Street Angel, Hulk: Grand Design), David Brothers (Time Waits, Go Back), Chip Zdarsky (Batman, Daredevil), Benjamin Percy (Predator vs. Spider-Man, X-Force), Steve Anderson (Third Eye Comics), Phillip Kennedy Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, Batman and Robin), Sanford Greene (Bitter Root, Doom), Brad and Lisa Gullickson (Comic Book Couples Counseling), and Chris Condon (That Texas Blood, Ultimate Wolverine).
What comics would you pull from The Stacks? We’d love to hear from you. Post a comment on the YouTube video, and if you dig this video concept, tell a friend and spread your passion for comics.
