We bring Morgan Beem, Frank Barbiere, and Jorge Corona into The Stacks at Third Eye Comics so they can discuss their favorite comic books.

Morgan Beem Frank Barbiere Jorge Corona The Stacks

For the first time, three comic book creators are in The Stacks at Third Eye Comics in Annapolis, Maryland. Morgan Beem (Crashing, The Author Immortal), Frank Barbiere (Five Ghosts, The Author Immortal), and Jorge Corona (Transformers, Lobo) share their favorite comic books with us. Up first, Frank Barbiere explains why Locke and Key is one of the great comic book franchises. Morgan Beem shares her passion for Naoki Urasawa. Jorge Corona needs everyone's eyeballs glued to Blacksad. And there's a lot more love for a whole lotta comics.

If that's not enough of a tease, here's all of the comics mentioned in this video, full spoilers: Locke and Key, Pluto, 20th Century Boys, Blacksad, Ex Machina, The Many Deaths of Laila Starr, Dandadan, The Unwritten, Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me, Black Science, Unknown Soldier, Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees, and Godzilla: Escape the Deadzone.

Make sure you view The Stacks with Matthew Rosenberg (4 Kids Walk Into A Bank, We're Taking Everyone Down With Us), Joshua Williamson (Superman), Rodney Barnes (Killadelphia), Jim Rugg (Street Angel, Hulk: Grand Design), David Brothers (Time Waits, Go Back), Chip Zdarsky (Batman, Daredevil), Benjamin Percy (Predator vs. Spider-Man, X-Force), Steve Anderson (Third Eye Comics), Phillip Kennedy Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, Batman and Robin), Sanford Greene (Bitter Root, Doom), Brad and Lisa Gullickson (Comic Book Couples Counseling), and Chris Condon (That Texas Blood, Ultimate Wolverine).

What comics would you pull from The Stacks? We’d love to hear from you. Post a comment on the YouTube video, and if you dig this video concept, tell a friend and spread your passion for comics.
