In The Stacks, Predator vs. Spider-Man scribe Benjamin Percy shares with us his three favorite comic books.

With The Stacks week one wrapped, it's time to roll out Episode Two with filmmaker and Predator vs. Spider-Man scribe Benjamin Percy. This episode is significantly shorter than last week's premiere. We're curious as to how that impacts the reception, both in terms of enjoyment and views. When we're in-store at Third Eye Comics with these creators, we do not give them much direction in terms of the comics. They pick the amount, and they drive the conversation.
While the runtime is a brisk 6+ minutes, Benjamin Percy brings tremendous thought and passion to each selection. He LOVES these comics, and in the case of one book, gave us a fantastic reminder that we need to shove it into our brains, immediately. Considering how gorgeously gory Predator vs. Spider-Man has been so far, it's not entirely surprising that Percy's picks in The Stacks skew horror. Delightfully, all three named titles are wildly different from each other.
Thank you to everyone who shares, likes, and subscribes to our YouTube channel. This past week was incredible. The Stacks and Episode One, guest-starring David Brothers and Chip Zdarsky, received a phenomenal reception. The comic book community has come out in serious support of this concept, but new readers are still discovering our revived channel. Please continue to share these videos with your friends, both online and offline.
Next week, Steve Anderson, the co-owner of Third Eye Comics, will step before our cameras and rattle off a hearty list of comics. It's an absolute highlight of The Stacks season one, for sure. You will not want to miss it.
The remaining season, which will play out throughout July and August, will feature Phillip Kennedy Johnson (Batman and Robin, The Incredible Hulk), Sanford Greene (Bitter Root, Doom), Chris Condon (Ultimate Wolverine, News From The Fallout), and Brad and Lisa Gullickson (hey, that's us!).
