The Best Comics of 2020

No, seriously, these are the best comics. Pay no attention to other end-of-the-year lists. We got you.

This is our favorite time of the year. This year, more so than ever. We can't wait to say goodbye to 2020, cuz its been a real nightmare.

At the same time, 2020 still managed to produce a whole heap of great entertainment, especially in the field of comics. Looking around at other Top Ten lists, we're floored by the amount of quality that we haven't even gotten to yet, and that's crazy, cuz we read a crap ton of comic books.

Putting together our end-of-the-year episode is always a little tricky. We're not one voice. We're two voices - Brad and Lisa. That means the two of us have to agree on all the categories and all the winners. We usually get along, but this always brings out a little extra spark. We're passionate readers and we want our favorites represented.

The resulting episode is a collective effort. When we say this is the Best Graphic Novel of 2020, what we're actually saying is that this is our collective favorite of 2020. Maybe Lisa would have picked something different on her own. Maybe Brad would have picked something different on his own.

The joy is in the collaboration. Duking it out before we hit record, but then, once that button's been pressed, the two of us go into celebration mode.

We're very proud of this epsiode. We think it came out even better than last year's Best-Of show, and we think the comics might even be better as well.

No spoilers here. We'll let you discover the winners as you listen, but if you want to jump around, you can follow the timestamps listed below.
